Perla Joe Maalouli grew up surrounded by her loving family in a small yet beautiful country, Lebanon. She graduated with a Baccalaureate degree in Interior Design and decided to let go of Interior Architecture after her first semester to specialize in Cinematography at The Holy Spirit University of Lebanon. She has worked as a freelance production coordinator, a production manager, and as a casting coordinator (with Clandestino Films). “Zugzwang” is her first film. Today, she’s eagerly continuing her masters studies in Cinematography and working on upcoming projects.
